It aims to build a community of education practitioners around the world and provide a collaborative space for them to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practices. The portal, developed by UNESCO and the World Economic Forum, with valuable support from Cisco, Intel and Microsoft, aims to further the work of the Partnerships for Education programme and serve as a valuable source of information for academics, teachers, researchers, government officials, civil society and private sector organizations all working in the field of education.
