The telecentre.org social investment programme has spearheaded a number of initiatives to strengthen networks and telecentres. | At the second worldwide Telecentre Leaders Forum held in conjunction with GK3 in Kuala Lumpur in December 2007, network leaders from over 40 countries gathered and launched a new era in the telecentre movement. This event offered networks a space to envision future growth, and innovate on linkages across the movement. The Forum also launched the Telecentre Magazine , the French and Arabic editions of the Telecentre Times, and the Telecentre Knowledge Network. In 2008 and 2009, telecentre.org will continue to support gatherings across the movement, improve its website, and expand its pool of content facilitators into other regions and languages. |
