Youth & ICT Awards

Since 2003, GKP has presented several Youth and ICT-related awards in collaboration with various partners.

 

The 2005 Youth & ICT Awards

 

Partners: Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) , Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS) , MITRA Technology Foundation (MITRA) , TakingITGlobal (TIG) , Thai RuralNet (TRN) and Young Asia Television (YATV) .

The 2005 GKP Youth & ICT Awards reward and highlight the outstanding work of young people who have transformed social development opportunities into a sustainable social enterprise through innovative use of ICTs. By showcasing many of the top nominees in the Youth & ICT Award, the GKP can introduce these excellent projects to new partners and supporters, and share models that will inspire other youth to use technology and knowledge for development of their communities.
