Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) …. More than just a network
Multistakeholder networks are a powerful means of sharing knowledge and best practices across thematic areas, sectors and regions. The GKP Network transcends borders and has more than 10 years of experience in sharing knowledge and building partnership in the area of Knowledge and ICT for development. The GKP Through The Looking Glass Interview Series has proven to be the GKP network’s premier channel for soliciting and sharing insights from prominent leaders, thinkers and practitioners on Knowledge and ICT for development issues.
Initiated in late 2006, the series has received recognition from both contributors and readers, and continued through 2008 to generate valuable, eye-opening thought-pieces of significant interest in a range of thematic areas including multistakeholder partnerships, the future of the Internet, as well establishing the role of ICT and networks in promoting access to knowledge, education and learning, encouraging innovation, harnessing renewable energy, supporting entrepreneurship, and building Information Societies.
